Yes

BRIEF

How do you bring sophistication to a campy neighborhood? I co-created a brand that sought to answer that question with a storefront in the Castro.

The store’s founders wanted to create both a shopping destination and community space that centered on the artists and their work. If you were to stop by on a Saturday, you may meet the artist and create a connection while browsing their wares.

YEAR

2019

The brand name and identity went through several iterations—the Castro Market, the Castro Commons, and, finally, Yes—and I designed logos for each identity. These were some of the designs that received enthusiastic praise from my clients; the last logo was created by my partner designer, which I then adapted into the work below.

I created these illustrations for the investor pitch deck and website. These renderings walk the viewer through the Castro until we arrive at Yes, peering through its doors.

I co-created this presentation with another designer. The deck is meant for potential investors and details our concept in full.
