My co-founders, Fernando and Camille, wanted to move their family business into the 21st century: Fernando's mom and aunt were seamstresses, and they created clothing for brands like Forever 21 at their family-owned factory in Brooklyn. Fernando and Camille saw an opportunity in the fashion influencers on TikTok: We would create their very own branded clothing; all the influencer would have to do is market the product to their following.
I created a brand from the ground up for this young, tech-savy audience: I set the visual standards and tone of voice, oversaw photoshoots and developed set-design concepts for our photography, and finally created Acaso’s website in Figma and Webflow.
